We have exciting news to share for summer 2016! We are collaborating with ten schools in the Cambridge area to enable British students, aged from 14 to 18, to join us in Girton College for this year’s summer school. We have over 30 students enrolled for either one or two weeks throughout July.
The British school students will attend the daytime workshops and lectures, working in mixed teams with our international participants, as well as joining in some evening activities and excursions. This is the first year we have introduced integration with British school students. We believe it will be of significant benefit to all the participants, as both the local Cambridge students and overseas students will gain from shared learning and increased cultural understanding.
No doubt they will also have lots of fun interacting together in a variety of settings, from robotics and 3D printing to performing Shakespeare and Scottish dancing.
