The founder and Managing Director, Laura Davies remains personally involved in every aspect of designing and delivering the summer programmes. She teaches the business and 21st Century Skills course modules and stays in the same college as all the course participants, staff and mentors, throughout the summer.
Laura is a Cambridge alumna and studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Girton College. Laura’s husband, Neil, is also a Cambridge graduate, where he studied Natural Sciences at St. John’s College. Neil and Laura met as students at Cambridge and were married at Girton College in 1991.
Their son completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology, Development and Neuroscience (PDN) at Cambridge and pursued his postgraduate medical studies at the University’s School of Clinical Medicine. He is now practising medicine as a doctor in Cambridge.
In 2017, their son was married in Jesus College to a medical student he met while studying in Cambridge, and Laura and Neil were delighted to welcome another Cambridge alumna into the family.
